Little Stories with big meanings. Jesus regularly used parables because stories impact our lives in big ways. In the parables Jesus would take a common concept and use it to tell a story designed to encourage, or even shock, the audience into action. If we have ears to hear, the parables will teach us how to be more like Jesus and do what he did.
